This guide will attempt to find values for :
– Temperature (Bed, Extruder, Chamber)
– Flowrate
And if available,:
– Pressure/Linear Advance
This guide does NOT help find :
– Retraction
– Extra Restart Distance (or Unretract Distance)
– Coasting (Cura, Simplify3D)
– Retract on Wipe (Prusaslicer, Orca)
… they are found in Print Tuning Guide after you complete this guide.
The numbers in MATERIALS are a good start, given you have an idea what material you’re using.
But, This guide assumes:
– your material is completely unknown
– known but the values in MATERIALS didnt work and still must print
– you have around 500grams of it, or more
– it can be extruded (if it cannot, see Extrusion Issues first)
